November '16 sewing plans

Hello everyone!

It's November and it's already getting colder! In this post I would like to share my November sewing plans! I know I'm a bit late on posting this..  I hope you enjoy!

Well, for this month I have lots of plans! After winning the SOI ebook City Break "my capsule wardrobe" from the lovely "littlemisslorraine" giveaway on her YouTube channel (Yayyy! Check her awesome youtube channel!) I'm planning to make the Lola coat and Erin skirt from it! Lola coat is a relaxed loose fitting coat without closure in front. However, you can easily tight a belt if you like. Also, there is an option either for long version which is really thoughtful during the colder days or short version like a cardigan if you prefer. I'm going to make the long version using a wool mix fabric - perfect for the winter which is coming! The fabric was bought locally.

As far as a Erin skirt is concerned, this is a versatile little skirt. Anyone needs at least one! Again, there is an option of a long version (midi length) or a mini lenght skirt. Moreover, it has cute little buttons in front for closure. I'm going to make a mini length  Erin skirt using a grey denim with muted silver buttons - both purchased locally.

I would also like to make the Fraser sweatshirt by Sewaholic in view A. It seems to be a comfy sweater. I'm going to use floral textured ponte fabric bought from DragonflyFabrics combined with black stretch pique fabric which was bought locally.

Fourth sewing project for this month is going to be Guise Pant by Papercut patterns using a dusty pink wool mix for this (again that was a locally purchase). Not only first pant for me but also first fly zipper! I'm a bit scare of it! We'll see how they will turn out.

Finally, I should start making my #littlereddressproject for Xmas! For those who aren't aware about this project, I'm going to share a few things about it.
#Thelittlereddressproject is conceived by Renata from Runningnstyle & Holle from HollieSews (you should check their YouTube channel). We are all going to make a dress using at least 90% red fabric or dusky pink. It's open to bloggers/vloggers or instagramers who are interested in. We should start posting about it/making it at the beginning of November and the reveal day is 21 of December! Please check out Renata 's youtube channel for more info, here is a link to her #littlereddressproject video. Come and join us to this awesome project!

That is for this month! Lots of plans right? Well, actually I've already started making things! I hope I will finish on time all the garments I'm planning to make!

What are you planning for this month?

                   Happy sewing everyone!
